The Stables Nursery is housed in a Scandi style purpose built building which is set within the countryside and is easily accessible from the local towns.

We are an independent day nursery owned by Sarah Porter. She is a fully qualified Primary School teacher and was previously an outstanding Childminder. Sarah acquired the nursery in September 2016 and has developed the nursery into a full time day nursery catering for children from birth until they leave for school. We have built strong links with the community and we are proud to be a part of so many local families lives.

The children have access to various areas which include: the private enclosed fields, the den, the front and back garden and the main nursery room with access to the garden at all times. We follow the children's interests to foster a lifelong love of learning both inside and outside the nursery. All children have the opportunity to participate in The Forest School sessions which run from 9am-3pm daily. We embrace all seasons and allow the children to develop their own knowledge and understanding of the world through outdoor play whilst encouraging them to assess risks and build on their resilience.
